Accounting Module

The BIT Management Accounting module is designed to give management
the information necessary to manage the business while the information is
still fresh enough to be of use. There is no longer any need to wait weeks
or months to get financial reports. You produce an income statement
when you want it, and it is as current as the last transaction entered. And it
is easy enough that management can produce the desired reports with the
click of a couple of buttons, without having to be an accountant.

This module supplies information to, and receives information from, all of
the other modules. Passwords can be used to restrict access to the entire
system or just to certain portions of it. It handles your accounts
receivables, accounts payable, comparative reporting, balance sheets and
income statements. You may also departmentalize in various profit
centers and produce an income statement for each. If you have multiple
stores, each may have its own general ledger or each may be a location
within the consolidated general ledger.

You also design your own chart of accounts exactly tailored to your need for
information. The system is easy to use, but does require an experienced
bookkeeper to operate it.
